Darcie Roberts Magino
CEO · Co-Artistic Director
Darcie Roberts Magino is an award-winning performer, director, and educator who made her Broadway debut at 17. Her career spans Broadway, national tours, regional theatre, and Lincoln Center.
As a vocal and performance coach, she helps young performers build technique, confidence, and the skills to pursue their biggest goals.

Troy Magino
COO · Co-Artistic Director
Troy Magino is an award-winning director, choreographer, performer, and educator with experience across national tours, regional theatre, television, and 40+ Disney productions.
He brings that professional insight to Broadway Arts Studio, helping students grow into confident performers, strong collaborators, and resilient young people.

Ms. Alyse
Dance / Musical Theatre Instructor
Alyse grew up as a competitive dancer and cheerleader before beginning a professional performance career with Disney.
She appeared in live shows, media events, cruise-line entertainment, and Disneyland productions while also serving as a trainer and mentor to fellow performers. Her warm, encouraging teaching style helps young students build confidence, develop strong foundations, and discover a genuine love for performing.

Mr. Andrew
Dance Instructor · Comp Dance Coach
Andrew began dancing as a high school senior and quickly discovered a passion for teaching hip hop. Since moving to Los Angeles, he has spent nearly a decade performing with Disney in shows, parades, and special events, developing additional skills in puppeteering and performance stilts.
His credits also include work with artists such as Missy Elliott and Diplo and an appearance on The Real O’Neals. Andrew brings high energy, professional experience, and an encouraging challenge to every class.

Ms. Bella
Dance Instructor · Comp Dance Coach
Bella holds degrees in Dance and Business and brings a strong background in performance, choreography, and competitive dance. She has trained across styles and received scholarships and recognition from leading dance organizations and competitions, including Hall of Fame, JUMP, NUVO, 24 Seven, and The Dance Awards.
Rooted in strong fundamentals, Bella helps dancers develop disciplined technique, confidence, and a thoughtful work ethic while encouraging them to grow as individual artists.

Ms. Elizabeth
Dance / Musical Theatre Instructor · Comp Dance Coach
Elizabeth is an Orange County–based dancer who grew up training in jazz, tap, hip hop, musical theatre, ballet, and pom. She has earned regional, national, and state titles and competed with the Orange Coast College dance team, winning national titles in both pom and jazz at NDA Nationals.
Her love of dance and musical theatre shapes choreography that combines technical development with strong storytelling. Elizabeth encourages students to work toward meaningful results while growing at a healthy, supportive pace.

Ms. Erin
Dance / Musical Theatre Instructor
Erin began dancing at age four and continued through college, specializing in jazz and tap. She has coached competitive dancers at both studio and middle-school levels and brings an educational perspective shaped by her BA in Psychology and Social Behavior, MA in Counseling, and professional work as a high school counselor.
Erin’s love of dance, storytelling, and musical theatre helps her create a classroom where every student feels valued, supported, and encouraged to grow as a performer.

Ms. Jade
Dance Instructor · Comp Dance Coach
Jade has trained in hip hop, pom, jazz, contemporary, ballet, pointe, lyrical, and modern, earning regional, state, and national recognition as a competitive dancer. Her experience includes professional performance with Disneyland, training through Irvine Valley College, and continued study in Cal State Long Beach’s dance program.
An award-winning national champion coach and choreographer, Jade pairs dedication and high standards with thoughtful mentorship, helping students strengthen their skills and discover what makes them stand out.

Ms. Jaylen
Dance / Musical Theatre Instructor · Comp Dance Coach
Jaylen began competitive dance at age four and trained for 14 years in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and ballet. She earned top placements as both a soloist and team dancer, including national recognition for choreography she created with a partner. Jaylen began teaching while she was still performing and later competed with the Orange Coast College dance team at UDA Dance Nationals.
She brings firsthand competitive experience, encouragement, and a genuine excitement for helping dancers progress week by week.

Ms. Joy
Acting, Voice & Musical Theatre Instructor
Joy is an accomplished casting director whose work spans Broadway, national and international tours, regional theatre, dance companies, concerts, and Disneyland entertainment. Throughout her career, she has discovered and developed performers while mentoring future casting directors, agents, and managers. She has also taught for leading universities and training programs across the country.
At Broadway Arts Studio, Joy brings industry insight into a fun, thoughtful classroom where students build confidence and discover their own unique ways of performing.

Mr. John
Musical Director · Vocal Instructor
John is an actor, director, music director, pianist, conductor, and vocal arranger who has staged or conducted more than 75 productions. His honors include multiple LA Ovation Award nominations and a Broadway World San Diego Award for Best Actor in a Musical.
John originated the Genie in Disney’s Aladdin aboard Disney Cruise Line and toured North America in Happy Days: A New Musical. He helps young performers find their voices while building musical knowledge, performance skills, and an appreciation for musical theatre history.

Ms. Kassandra
Dance Instructor · Comp Dance Coach
Kassandra trained and competed for 13 years in all-star styles including pom and jazz, with appearances at The Dance Worlds in Orlando. Her additional training includes ballet, pointe, contemporary, and lyrical. As a coach, she has led youth and mini teams to multiple first-place finishes, including recognition for pom technique.
Kassandra combines strong technical foundations with an encouraging, community-centered approach, helping dancers achieve their goals and become more confident in themselves and their movement.

Ms. Marilyn
Dance Instructor
Marilyn brings extensive experience as a performer, choreographer, teacher, and trainer. She performed for The Walt Disney Company in events, parades, and shows and also trained fellow performers during her time there.
Her work has been recognized with an Entertainment Hall of Fame Award and a Legacy Award nomination from the DeFore Foundation for the Arts. Marilyn loves helping students turn focused training into real progress, giving them the technique and confidence to achieve their goals.

Ms. Michelle
Dance Instructor · Comp Dance Coach
Michelle began dancing at age three and grew up as a competitive dancer, earning multiple titles throughout her training. She continued at Orange Coast College, where she became a national champion with the dance team. Her professional experience includes performing in Los Angeles with Varsity, working as a Disney dancer, and collaborating with industry dancers and choreographers.
Michelle creates a positive but challenging environment where dancers can strengthen their technique, build confidence, and express themselves while still having fun.

Mr. Ryan
Acting / Musical Theatre Instructor
A graduate of UCLA’s Ray Bolger Musical Theater Program, Ryan has worked extensively in theatre, television, and live entertainment throughout Southern California, New York, and internationally. He originated the Duke of Weselton in Frozen: Live at the Hyperion, completing nearly 3,000 performances, and has appeared in productions at leading regional theatres.
Having grown up in children’s theatre himself, Ryan loves helping young performers develop confidence, make bold creative choices, and discover their individual voices.

Ashlyn
Associate Dance Instructor
Ashlyn brings 15 years of dance training across ballet, pointe, pom, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and hip hop. She spent 10 years competing in All Star dance, earning multiple national titles and placing 2nd in the world at The Dance Worlds. Having grown up training with several of our current teachers, Ashlyn now brings that same drive, discipline, and love of dance to her own students.

Isabella
Associate Dance Instructor
Bella has trained in dance since childhood and is currently studying at Orange Coast College, where she performs with its nationally ranked dance team. As a soloist, she has earned top placements at regional, state, and national competitions, along with an All-American Dance Award. Isabella brings a unique mix of kindness, strong technical standards, and encouragement to every class.
