Darcie Roberts Magino

Darcie Roberts Magino is an award-winning leading lady, director, and educator who made her Broadway debut at just 17 years old.
A renowned vocal coach and teacher of voice, acting, tap, and musical theatre, Darcie has helped many young performers build successful careers on Broadway, television, film, and in the recording industry. Her students include Brennley Brown of The Voice and Ava Jean of Camp Rock 3 and A Week Away.
Throughout her career, Darcie has starred in numerous Tony Award-winning Broadway productions, national and international tours, regional theatre productions, symphony performances, and concerts at Lincoln Center. She has also performed alongside Sutton Foster and composer Jeanine Tesori as part of the American Songbook series.
Her work has been praised by Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, The Houston Chronicle, and The Philadelphia Inquirer, which have recognized her versatility, comedic instincts, emotional warmth, and thoughtful approach to a lyric. Her comedic performances have drawn comparisons to Buster Keaton, Lucille Ball, and Carol Burnett.
Darcie has worked with many of the industry’s leading performers, directors, and choreographers, including Kristin Chenoweth, Tommy Tune, Wayne Cilento, Michael Mayer, Rob Ashford, David Hyde Pierce, and Leslie Odom Jr.
As the daughter and granddaughter of dance studio owners, Darcie is proud to continue her family’s legacy by creating a place where young performers can explore their passions, build confidence, and develop a future in the performing arts. She is also the proud mother of four children.
