Troy Magino

Troy Magino is an award-winning director, choreographer, performer, educator, and creative leader with experience across Broadway national tours, regional theatre, television, commercials, music videos, and live entertainment.

He began performing at 15 and went on to receive a full BFA dance scholarship from Point Park University, as well as acceptance to NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts for acting. His career has since included more than 40 Disney productions, 10 years of precision dance performance at Radio City Music Hall, over 20 regional theatre productions, and three Broadway first national tours.

As a commercial dancer and choreographer, Troy has worked with artists and brands including LL Cool J, 98 Degrees, Nelly, Martina McBride, Enrique Iglesias, The Pussycat Dolls, Montell Jordan, Elton John, and Disney. He has also directed and choreographed award-winning work for the stage, television, and commercial productions.

His work has been praised by Variety, Backstage, and the Los Angeles Times for its energy, creativity, and engaging staging.

Beyond performing, Troy has served as a concept development director for Disney, taught at USC and UC Irvine, and worked as a guest instructor at colleges and universities. He has trained extensively in jazz, ballet, modern, contemporary, commercial dance, acting, and musical theatre around the world.

At Broadway Arts Studio, Troy is passionate about creating meaningful learning and performance opportunities for students of every age, level, and interest. Most of all, he is proud to be a father of four.
