Disney's Frozen Jr. is coming to Broadway Arts Studio
We’re excited to announce that Disney’s Frozen Jr. will be Broadway Arts Studio’s 2026–2027 Musical Theatre Conservatory fall production!
This fall, performers ages 7–18 will step into the magical kingdom of Arendelle and bring one of Disney’s most beloved stories to the stage. Filled with unforgettable music, memorable characters, and a story about courage, love, friendship, and the bond between sisters, Frozen Jr. offers something for every kind of performer.
With 17 featured roles plus ensemble opportunities, the production will include multiple Junior and Teen casts, giving students across a range of ages the opportunity to take on meaningful roles and be part of the world of the show.
A Full Musical Theatre Experience
Students will spend the fall rehearsing, creating, and bringing a full musical production to life. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, strengthen their acting, singing, and movement skills, and learn what it means to work together as a cast.
Rehearsals begin August 29, 2026, with most rehearsals taking place on Saturdays between 12:00–5:00 PM. Some Saturdays may run from 1:00–4:00 PM, with additional Friday evening or Saturday morning rehearsals possible for select leads.
The experience culminates in performances on October 24 and 25 at the Lake Forest Performing Arts Center.
Auditions & Casting
Auditions will take place on the first day of rehearsal, and students must be registered for the production in order to audition.
Broadway Arts Studio is committed to inclusive casting and welcomes performers of all ethnicities and backgrounds. Roles will be cast based on talent, suitability for the production, and the needs of the show.
