Our Vision
​The husband and wife team of Darcie Roberts Magino and Troy Magino are the founders of Broadway Arts Studio.
Collectively, they bring their combined 60 plus years of knowledge working with some of the industry’s most recognizable, beloved and acclaimed talents. Their work spans every sector of the entertainment field including, tv, film, commercials, industrials, concerts, recordings, voice-overs, readings, workshops, regional theatre, music videos, tours, Disney, and their home away from home, Broadway. Both have been sought out to teach master classes around the world.

Broadway Arts Studio reflects the principles they have learned while working as performers, choreographers, directors, instructors, and creative directors. They have worked extensively in the Broadway and Regional Theatre communities, with Disney Entertainment, in TV and as instructors at USC and UCI.
Broadway Arts Studio also reflects the principles they instill as parents. They have four children and have been married for over 22 years. For Darcie and Troy, family always comes first.

They are passionate about creating a place to belong for children and families who are both exploring the arts as a hobby or on a pre-professional path.
This passion for mentoring the next generation of artists is what led them to create Broadway Arts Studio.

Our Culture

Our Vision is led by Broadway and Industry Vets Darcie Roberts Magino and Troy Magino. They have mentored many to a career in the arts, including current Broadway performers, TV/Film stars, and recording artists.
We offer A family-friendly, fun, and welcoming community on a mission to develop all disciplines in the performing arts as well as life skills for our students to help them become confident in life. Everyone is welcome!

Our teachers are employees who go through extensive training with our founders. Our teachers are not independent contractors who studio-hop. All our staff goes through background checks and trainings.

We offer Songs and a Dress Code that are age-appropriate and family-friendly.
Our Space
Our main location is 12,000 sq ft and offers 9 studios.
Our cozier Annex is less than 1 mile away from our main location and has 3 studios. ​
Both studios offer plenty of parking and the ability for students with siblings to take class at the same time in the same location.

No Commitment
Our goal is to provide the best training in a safe environment that's fun for your child. We are confident that your kids will love our classes, and we are open to any feedback you or they have at any time, but sometimes life happens...so here are a couple of things to know...

When it comes to our ongoing classes, our tuition rates are based on monthly payments and not quarterly. We simply ask for a one-month notice to drop prior to the billing cycle.
​
Two Recitals Per Year - Optional
We offer two recitals per year that are optional based on your ability to opt-out. Our recitals are typically one hour long so families don't have to sit through longer performances. These are great experiences that not only create lasting memories but they are fantastic in the promoting the development of your child both in the arts and in life skills.
Our Location
We serve the communities of Lake Forest, Irvine, The Great Park, Foothill Ranch, Baker Ranch, Portola Springs, Portola Hills, Rancho Santa Margarita, Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, the Laguna's, and Aliso Viejo.

Troy has been an adjunct professor at USC and UCI and both have been sought out to teach master classes around the world. ​
