Our Response To Covid-19
While we still face some limitations in-studio, we continue to stand strong in the faith that when the Covid-19 crisis has ended, we will emerge stronger, resilient and hopeful, ready to create and share our artistic gifts fully with our students and community.
Here's what you need to know:
We are practicing social distancing and following CDC and Health Department guidelines.
COVID-19 affects different people in different ways. Infected people have had a wide range of symptoms reported – from mild symptoms to severe illness.
Students and Parents are asked to self-screen before you come to the studio.
Do currently you have:
Fever or chills
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Muscle or body aches (unexplained)
New loss of taste or smell
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Have you been in close contact with anyone known or suspected to Covid-19 within the last 14 days? (Close contact defined as with-in 6 ft or less for 15 minutes or more)
If you or your child answer "Yes" to any of these questions, please stay home and take care of yourself. Make-up classes are available. If you have any questions, please call us.
ENTRY TO LOBBY AND STUDIOS
Dancers and staff will either wash hands or use hand sanitizer upon entering the building and exiting class.
Every teacher/student/parent will have their temperature taken.
Contactless thermometers will be used for every person entering.
Parents must sign a COVID waiver for your child to participate.
If a student is ill or does not pass the health screening, they will not be allowed in the studio. They can participate via zoom.
Zoom classes will remain in place for families not ready to take in person.
Hand sanitizing bottles, cleaning wipes, and CDC approved cleaning products in every studio, lobby, and entrance.
Limited lobby seating is available. Parents are allowed in the studio on a limited basis.
Upon entering the studio, dancers must go to the assigned area.
Curbside drop off and pick up is available.
Students can arrive no earlier than 10 minutes, and parents can not leave until their child passes their health screening.
Parents must pick up students at the end time of the class. Please arrive early and wait in the parking lot.
Bathroom, lobby, door handles sanitized multiple times a day.
All high-touch surfaces are sanitized before/after every class.
Ballet barres wiped down after each use.
Bathrooms are available, but students are encouraged to use their home bathroom before arriving.
No Visitors, Deliveries, or General Inquiries are allowed inside the lobby or studios.
SIGNAGE AND MARKINGS TO PROMOTE SOCIAL DISTANCING
Dance floors are marked and tapped off to maintain social distancing of at least 6 ft.
Each studio capacity was reduced to meet recommendations by the OC Health Department and California Health Recommendations.
Studios, Bathrooms, Hallways and Lobby, will have queues and markings to maintain social distancing of at least 6 ft.
Signage posted to remind students and staff of protocols.
Social distance plan and training provided to staff
Social distance training will be provided to students the first day in the studio
Staff will be wearing face coverings
Face coverings are required when not in class.
Face coverings are permitted in class but not required.
FOOD AND DRINK
No Water Dispensers provided.
Students may bring a closed water bottle to the studio.
We will have individually wrapped snacks and water bottles available for purchase.
